I couldn't decide on a great title for my blog which epitomized the meaning of me. So I thought, I searched and this is what I came up with: Les Voyages et Le Baiser de Vie
Clearly, it is in French. I love all things French, I dream daily about how Jason and I will retire to a beautiful chateau in the French countryside.
So, what does it mean? It's literal translation is "The travels and the kiss of life." I figured I always blog about where I'm going and what I'm doing, so I decided to use the word travels. I also figured that I would mostly talk about my life and it's many joys, thus the kiss of life. What is not seen by the naked eye are the play on song titles of two of my favorite artists: Les Nubians and Sade
If anything, those two artists epitomize who I am. Very urban, jazzy, sexy, romantic, political and French. LOL Alright well, not quite French, yet I aspire to be. So ultimately, the title of my blog is borrowed from two songs from these artists: Voyager by Les Nubians and The Kiss of Life by Sade.
So welcome and enjoy reading. I will most likely re-post from my other blog that which will reflect the theme of this new one.
